A meaningless touch
I…
I want to be kissed,
To be touched I guess,
But I don’t think others get me,
A touch can only get so far,
And a kiss can only get so much,
To hold hands,
To be kissed in any form,
To have any form of sexual pleasure…,
Doesn’t it get stale or boring sooner or later?,
Doesn’t it feel wrong if it’s all some game to you?,
Does it even feel like you’re there?,
Or is it all some twisted game to get a kick?,
To get that quick dopamine spike like a dog,
Can’t deny sex must feel nice,
To get at some surge from a kiss,
To feel like someone acknowledging you,
But at the same time…,
It gets me to feel a bit sicker and lonelier,
So I can’t stand the thought of leading someone,
Let alone letting myself be played like the fool,
The fool I used to be when I was lonely and desperate,
So I won’t date if I can’t find a spark,
A spark more than just looks or shallow kicks.
