A Stolen Love

A house emptied of presence, The abandoned couch with no use, A fireplace, once lit with flames of great power, Bathrooms with dormant water in the pipes, The kitchen with no one to cook. This is what happens, when one strays from an old path, far and far away, to a place where they have no past, And with a love that they stripped from another.
