The sun is going down, but I don't mind

the sun is going down, but I don't mind

Kind people are hard to find so I,

add another brick to the wall

add another brick to the wall

close the door behind me

look at all the locks, and turn them all

look at all the locks and turn them all

Tuck myself into bed,

I fall asleep dreaming of a brighter day

I fall asleep dreaming of a brighter day

I dream of a world with a kinder way

I dream of a world where you would've stayed

I dream of a world where you would've stayed

When I wasn't so afraid

But it wasn't the right time

But it wasn't the right time

No, it'll never be the right time

Not in the night time

Not in the night time

I wake up and watch the sun come up

it's a new day

it's a new day

it'll be a brighter day, and I'll have a lighter way
