Abandoned

God saw that it was good, And he rested. A perfect world, But still untested. Free thinkers. Free willers. We ate the fucking apple-- Turned us into killers-- Killers of our God, Who clothed us with love-- A sacrifice from above. But God left us. Perfect worlds becomes a mess. An orphaned Earth, Abandoned by its creator, Controlled by the ruthless, And destroyed by the haters. What do we do? Where did God go? Evil. Hate. Violence. Natural disasters. Cancer. Disease. What do we do? Where did God go? Abandoned. Alone. Altogether, doubtful and cold. Was God ever here?
