ABANDONED CARRIAGE

Days and days go by Weeks and weeks past Still hurt by what has passed A life that I can never get back Mistakes are made that are hard to face But at the end of the day I still feel the same way regretful yet grateful sadness but relief everything just ties into how the future is seen something I know, just wasn't for me unexpected surprise More like a goodbye to the blessing He made Then had taken away you live and you learn Yet still can't return To the once innocence self whom was taken by felt just a certain of months is all it would take to see come face to face with what I once considered a mistake I'm sorry to say I cry each day for the acceptance of letting you go due to my selfish ways
