Abandoned House

I am empty

With no more furniture in me
All life had left

My windows are shattered
Doors broken down
Beams cracking

My floor boards are torn
Wood is ruined
I am beyond repair

Since you have left me
I have stood alone
Waiting for your return
Though deep down
I know you'll never come back

You've abandoned me
But if you ever need a house
I will stand for you
Because though you've broken me
I will stand for you
I will shelter you

If only you'd come back
