abandonment

theres always been this feeling

a feeling of emptyness

kinda like a room with bare walls and floors

and faded spots on the door where things use to hang

its that kind of feeling you get on the inside

when something inside you finally dies

its the feeling you get when you start to feel so alone

and become a stranger even in your own home

see thats when you realize

that the people whos supposed to care about you

turn around and leave becuase they lose hope

they feel like youve become to much for them to handle

and then that support you had turns out to be a scandle

they took your acomplishment and used it for thier pride

but as soon as you began to struggle they began to hide

so like a knife to the heart they left you there wounded

never to be seen again

like whispers in the wind

and silent with thier movemnts

I hope as you continue to write and search within that your feeling of abandonment is filled. You may feel empty but you're whole.

Xoxo

Slim
