Abortion Ban

Our government does not care about life, they care about control.

If they were for life,

they would cry for the pregnant, Muslim woman being beaten for the scarf wrapped around her head, her unborn child paying the price.

If they were for life,

they would help put an end to our black boys being shot by our police.

If they were for life,

they would end the bigotry that allows our transgender youth to beaten to death.

If they were for life,

they would mourn the brown babies stripped from their parents, dying alone in their custody.

If they were for life,

they would not put bread winners of households behind bars for possession of a couple grams of green.

They would not raise their boys to have such a hate towards women that they one day find their child’s girlfriend in their trunk, they would not be spending 6 trillion on a war they can’t even tell me what we are accomplishing, they would revamp the foster care system, they would put more money into welfare programs, health care would be a right, no religion would be shunned, their children would be loved no matter who they choose to love, our homeless wouldn’t be freezing to death on the streets.

There would be no war, or racism, or homophobia, or hatred. For they all end in violence. For they all end in pain. For they all end in death.

Our government does not care about life,

they care about control.
