Abortion Laws

Ah the land of the free, the brave,

The tolerant

Tolerant of cheating and divorce, of lies and scandals,

Of murder

Murder of those who can not defend themselves

Who have not yet had a chance

To breathe, to smile, to love

Tolerant of the murder of a miracle, a living human.

A child

Some say it is because they are not ready, or that it was not their fault

That it's not even alive

Although their hearts beat, they feel pain,

They have a soul

A mother who chooses death will never see her baby smile, hear her laugh,

feel the love only her child could give

And she will never forgive her decision

The descion the land of the free, the home of the brave,

And the laws of the iggnorant

Allowed her to make
