Abortion(Me and Her)

Here we are, I'm sorry, my shining star. I know your road hasn't been long. Haven't experienced all that I love. The smell of October. The sunlight, how it drips gold. I wait for the doctor. Mother, your grandmother, right by my side. I start to wonder your laughter. You looked beautiful in picture. Bet you could've stolen the whole town. Maybe we could've; stayed up all night watching old fashion movies. Pancakes in bed. Mother and daughter. Finally a family. But the poster on the wall is telling me to let you go. I'm not old enough. To love, to protect such a wonderful girl. Can I go through with this? The doctor is coming. It's too late. He says it won't hurt that much, but what about you? No answer. Can I do this? My own baby girl. My pride and joy. Maybe we could take more pictures. Don't take the abortion! I can't move my feet, I can't seem to speak. Mother please hear me. My stomach keeps moving. I lay down, the bed is close. I could have a baby girl. Just breath in. Breath out. It won't take that long. October, dipped in gold. Pictures of me and her. I find the strength.

I can't let her go.

Bobby.

Music is just poems from a young kid, but with a better background than beatboxing It's better to be hit with a truck than kissed with a lie
