About Me

I know how you like to come home To a plate of Grandma's cooking And an extremely long nap I can recall your favorite phrases How well you did in each of your games And I could name the songs You tried singing along to On cool evenings in the pizzeria I know that on your fingers There are nubs instead of nails And I could tell your cologne apart from others With my eyes closed Or what you had for dinner three Thursdays ago It just saddens me that No matter how many wishes wasted No matter what hints I make No matter how hard I try You do not know Any of these things About me
