About You
Words cannot explain or speak of the poems I sing.
I've tried for many young years to breathe off pure heroine
nothing ever worked as I absorbed my own words
I turn to that chandelier that hangs so far down.
I thought I could try it.
3 times later.
1 life only.
Wonder what is still in store for me.
Why do I base my life soley off love?
I don't get a connection and I disconnect.
I turn around to find someone only to see I've been standing alone.
The world doesn't present itself within a mindset of hungry eyes.
We hurt ourselves daily.
But how?
We were meant to recreate.
Meant to love.
Yet we are the ones who put ourselves there even though it's the choice of others to love us.
Haven't you understood yet that "the others" are you?
They say the same thing about you.
We have to start loving others.
Even if we can't love ourselves because maybe that's the trick to loving ourselves.
We can find out who we are.
