Above All

If I was on a desert island in the sea

The letter "s", I'd bring with me

For a dessert island is much more pleasing, indeed

But life isn't a desert island

Life's an airport with unlimited destinations abound

It's more important to chose the path that leads you to your promised land

So I choose the path of integrity, above all

In a life without it, I'd surely fall

Especially without truth's silent call

Morals will guide me where I may pass

Staying true to my own self, alas

Will guide me past any impasse
