Absence of consciousness

I don’t really know

what I should be

doing today,

tomorrow, or the next day.

I’m sort of just doing

what is known

and what should be.

Everyday feels the same

until time tells

a different story.

How much change

can there be

when nothing

is different?

Life is so

contradictory

so simple

and so

complex.

It's as if you

don't realize the

effects of the past

and present till

you're already in

the future.

I’m in love though,

with the days

that move so slow

but go too fast.
