Absolution

As long as you got breath in those bones, as long as blood runs warm

There’s still a chance, a chance to make things right.

You don’t have to pull yourself together

He holds the glue to put your pieces back

Have they said the wrong things?

Tell me the words and I’ll set you right.

Have they done you so wrong?

Tell Him and He’ll set you right.

Absolution, absolution

Your sins washed away, a new beginning

Absolution

As long as you walk this Earth it’s not too late.

Are you so far gone the Creator can’t reach you?

Believe or not you already belong to Him.

He’s calling you home

Lost sheep of Mine return to me.

Those depths you’d fallen to, He created.

Conditions you’ve suffered through, He’s abated.

Have they said the wrong things?

Tell me the words and I’ll set you right.

Have they done you so wrong?

Tell Him and He’ll set you right.
