to absorb


consider the sponge: 
soaking it all up, but only partly whole- 
blown in parts. the art of learning 
seems expedient, yet draining. 
gaining general, but filtering 
the rise and fall of the sediments; 
patience, the impediment. 
incompetent, and in a hurry. 

but why should i worry?
