Absorbed

Revelation 3:16 New English Translation (NET Bible)

16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold,

I am going to vomit you out of my mouth!

What does it take to be like me ... I seem to give my best?

The answer dwells in the lives of all who are called the rest

If I would give all my best without any expectations

Then maybe all would accept my forms of consternation

The “Good” that’s locked inside of me is guarded by my desire

That one way or another rules and becomes my full attire

Blinded by the power it has ... and loving every minute

It moves my will where it wants to ... for it knows I can’t resist it

It shows me what I deserve in regards to all others

It makes lots of sense to me so why should I even bother?

To explain what I feel if only rejoice in my selfish care

To others who don’t mean a lot since I really like this snare
