The Abstract Art of Language

I am an artist.

I am.

I paint with words

Splashes

                            Dashes

          Spreading

   Melting

         down

              the page.

I can't wield a brush.

I can't write a tune.

But I can write.

I can write my heart out.

Just like any other artist

Like- Like- Emily Dickenson!

Or Maya Angelou!

I am a writer. Heck, I'm a poet.

I am an artist.

And my words are beautiful. Inspiring.

They are worth being seen.

My poems are no Mona Lisa

They're more...

More, well, more abstract

Yes. Abstract.

More flowing and swirling and shifting and moving

Wordsblendandmixtogether

Freedom. True, absolute, freeing.
