Absuse
day by lovely day
you try to find peace in some guy
cant you see he'll get you no where in life
all he has ever done is tell you a bunch of lies
you fall for it everytime
you try to escape him
but he finds you
then he hurts you more than the last time
you try to desperately to get away
far far away
somehow each time he finds you
i guess its time
for you to find a new hiding place
one day this is all
going to be too much for you to take
people try to help you
we all see the scars and bruiuses
on that beautiful face
you say its from the dog
just stop,
we know all of it is fake
when you get home from work
he asks you how was your day
you reply to him with a simple okay
then you swiftly walk away
you go see your children in the back bedroom
they sit innocently
hiding this from them isnt easy
but they need a good home
it will pay off one day surely
they know the secret though
this chaos at home
they pray for an escape
a few years go by
you think all is well
the kids are gone
and bruises heal
suddenly here come the day you say one wrong thing
he falls back into old routine
this time its different
someone sees
one day you get home
you have a single chance to escape
you get out
and your heart screams "horray"
each day he comes
pleads for you to return
he leaves you letters
oh how he wishes he wouldnt have
done those things in the past
