Abuelo Carmelo

Carmelo, who always has a smile

Who only speaks Spanish

Who always makes us laugh

Who will do anything to see his family

Who loves us more than

anything in the world

Who is sick

And feeling pain

Who lives too far away

Carmelo, I love you

But I cannot comfort you

My only abuelo
