My God

My God did it all

I could use every adjective to describe him

But they would be just mere words

His thoughts alone created every zone,

Every sea, every valley, every forest on this earth

Awesome is the life that is free

Though it began in iniquity

Awesome is the mercy

When I know I’m not worthy

Awesome is the grace

When without it, I would have fell on my face

An indescribable, infinite entity

That is the same yesterday, today and forever more

A God that loves us to the very core

God created us

Sent His son to die for us

Who left the Holy Spirit to comfort us

The blueprint of true life was stained with the blood Christ shed

Maybe that’s why when Christ speaks in the bible it’s written in red

I refuse to take that in vain

When his veins were tore open

Knowing that process was the missing piece

To everlasting peace

And reconciliation back to the father

Awesome is the chance given to me and all of humanity

Salvation

To live free

And more abundantly
