Abuse


Small little girl trying her best To not make a sound, to make not a mess. Was taught that she must show respect to adults Who were cruel and abusive and always at fault. With judgement askew and no expectations She learned to accept the lack of affection. But in spite of her knowing she was being disrespected Like the child she was, she would accept being neglected. The disrespect shown her right from the cradle Would soon prove itself to be utterly fatal. On a night lone and dreary on a building so tall She wondered if maybe she should let herself
