The Abuse
Falling into the forgotten past
Ever greedy as the blackened crow
Who really knows how long this will last
The spinning hatred continues to grow
Calling out to deaf ears
Frightening, lonely screams
Something that no one ever hears
Everything falls apart; tears at the seams
These things inside you
They feed your obsession
We hear of your crimes, of the things you do
We’re all just waiting for your final confession
Ever reaching for the highest high
And now you’re gone; this is my final goodbye.
