A broken heart

A victim mindset

You took everything

How did you just walk in and use me?

Fear always in my eyes

Anger in yours

Did you want the power?

Were you keeping score?

I'm used for your own selfish gain

You're the real insecure one

You're a coward and a fool

And I wish I could run

But I'm too afraid to try

You keep me in these chains

I'm too attached to you

Even though you cause me pain

I feel so used

Like an object thrown in the trash

Worthless and tossed

Walked on like a doormat

I call for help

But I've lost all sense of hope

You are a monster that keeps me captive

And all I can do is cope

I'm crying out

Rescue me

Save me from this place

Hear my desperate plea
