Your walls constructed of lies are caving in
I feel claustrophobic
I’m gasping for air
Fighting to live
Clinging onto pieces of myself I thought could never leave me
But your poisoned words have entwined to form a rope
One that is strangling me
That is killing me slowly
That is throwing away my will to live
Tell me, how am I to smile?
When you’ve reduced the purpose of my life to constantly battle with you
I cannot be at war with you
This isn’t love
