The Abuse of You, I’m No Longer Addicted Too

I wish you said that when I felt the same,

but why is my loss always your gain?

Why is my pain one of your joys?

Why am I to you just a silly toy?

I wish you had said that when I held no regrets,

but now I can't have you or maybe it's this,

I don't want you no more,

even with love for you still in my heart,

cuz now that I'm strong I see I was stuck in the dark,

I see that with you I was broken and afraid

but when your stuck on your own,

you fix your own ways,

I wish you had told me that when I still wanted you,

now that I'm with out I see that there's no me in me and you.

I love you but no.

You shoulda seen sooner.

Now your the broken one,

while I've finally grown stronger, and broke free.

Now I am finally a stronger me.

Because when you feel pain it makes you finally see,

I was an addict,

hooked on my ways,

you where my drug,

my addiction to pain,

you where the monster that took over my demons,

but instead of saving me you decided to feed them,

instead of love,

we fed our flaws,

this is why I'm finally strong,

here's the thing about addiction,

when you go without,

you go crazy and break and fix yourself now,

I am not a me when there is an us,

I am a shell of fear and of lust,

I was  addicted to what I had to give,

I was blinded by your lies and your fibs,

but I have grown strong,

even when you walk past,

even when my knees shake,

and for my breath I have to gasp,

for being near you

I'm drugged and I drowned,

but the thing about addiction is when you quit,

a new strength can be found.
