Abusive Relationships

Love is something very dear to me.

I always thought it would be easy,
a fairytale.

Prince Charming!
Will sweep me off my feet
and take me away from my messy life.

But what I got instead is a beast.
The beast will claw and gnaw away at my heart,
leaving me with nothing else to give.

The beast will put me in a trance,
slowly making me go insane,
so I can’t think anymore.

And when this beast is done with me,
I’ll no longer believe in fairytales,
or happy endings.
