Abyss
So often am I alone,
that I feel as if I am surrounded,
by my cross, by my clothes,
by my thoughts, by my doubts.
I step back from myself and observe,
and I see that in my solace I am truly
alone. Without an idol to model,
without a feeling to express,
without a story to tell.
But then I realize that I am
living. That I am breathing.
that I am dying, moving towards death.
breathing in and out the matters of life,
letting them pass me by touched or untouched, until death,
that emptiness that is the ultimate knowledge,
that is the fear beyond life,
for it is beyond life itself.
Where we will find all the answers.
