The Abyss
I lie awake at night, tossing, turning,
Staring into the empty, dark abyss.
My thoughts run rampant and wild.
I peer into my soul.
Yet,
I find nothing there.
I feel the darkness enveloping me,
Suffocating me in a cobweb of black.
Plunging me down, further, further, and further.
Will this be my coffin? Lord only knows.
Will this be my coffin? Lord only knows.
