Abyss

Why is it that when you don't know how to swim, you still dip your feet in to test the waters?
Suppose it's the hint of bravery and willingness to learn to how to swim?
Can you imagine not knowing what it's like to float in open waters
yet able to imagine and
feel it's exhilaration just by a hint at your feet?
When you rest your vulnerable toes in the depths of the unknown
it's like taking a risk; or better said a chance.
Knowing my beating heart is anxious and willing I am taking a chance with you.
To listen to the waves...
Let me guide you, afloat.
Get lost in the ocean of my mind & find your way through my abyss.

Swim with me.
