The AC

Of all the things that this whole world proffers,

There is one thing that stands above the rest,

Something to me worth more than the gold in Midas' coffers,

And to which its sweet magnificence I will always attest

And, well, what is it?

Is it sliced bread or the flying machine?

Oh no, my dear friends, something far better!

To wit, air conditioning!

The Protector of our comfort during the hot months of summer,

Living without this device would be quite a toasty bummer

Without it the air to condition, I would be miserable from the sun's fierce attrition!
