His name was like sweet poison on her lips. 

She fell victim to a smile that was so beautifully ugly. 

She thought she could save him, like a missionary and an atheist

Hopeless; see

she knew his sins, but he endlessly fooled her

She believed every hidden caress dripping in lies.

She believed his deception because she saw the good in him

even where there was none
