Acceptance
I’m tired of hiding
There is a girl underneath this Skin you don’t know
But you’ll never understand
Why I chose this life…
The harsh words you say
Break my heart
Day after day
But this mask, a piece of wonderful art
You’ll never see
How much your words mean to me
I want to tell you the truth
But I know, it’ll never be the same
The tears of my youth
I cannot tame
Please, accept me…
