Acceptance
Matthew 8:6-8 &13 New English Translation
6 “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible anguish.” 7 Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” 8 But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof! Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed.13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; just as you believed, it will be done for you.” And the servant was healed at that hour.
Acceptance
Does sickness remain because of unbelief although it is not your own?
It was a servant who was suffering in spite of the compassion of his master
Is it the empathy of another able through the concern to pave the way?
And for man to be healed from despair and pain through Love’s true Master
Should we accept sickness positively and not ignore the call for prayer?
“Jesus said to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you,”
Is it here where some answers rest as the most prevalent sickness is spiritual?
For, after all, the instability in our feelings and emotions sticks to us like glue
