Acceptance

She lives in denail

its not hard to see

the way her callused hands twist at the broken buttons of her shirt

shes damaged

failing her self and everyone around her

But shes a believer

she wishes on every star every night, hoping, wishing, praying...

shes crying

Hes determined, gets straight A's and is always aiming for the top

but he suffers

with life and living in it

he's tried and confused

hes fustrated and broken

hes screaming at the world for making him believe hes not ok

they just want acceptance
