Acceptance

Everyone danced. Merry and glad.

All were happy and none were sad.

This gala turned out to be not quite so bad.

Of course, no one imagined such a disarray.

When Billy showed up with a stingray!

Everyone's face grew red and round.

And Lisa fell right to the ground.

"How terrifying, no oh no!

Get that thing out of here, now go!"

Then the mayor quickly danced a jig,

And Mary offered the creature a fig,

And the ladies all chuckled at the one who laid down,

And took the creature on the merry go 'round.

Oh! The people who know acceptance is key

Loved

A friendly creature who loves you and me
