One thing I wish

more people would be,

is more accepting, more tolerable

of people like me.

To not poke fun

at the geeks, or nerd, or dorks,

but to be understaning,

that it's our life, our choice.

It should not matter 

what we listen, watch, or play;

everyone is the same

somehow or some way.

The whole world could use a few

more people who truly care,

a few more people who,

for others, are always there.
