Acceptance

More regally than anybody can, The angel whom you so desire strides; As she goes on loving another man, Your feelings feel the need to run and hide. Do make a point of making a façade of grief Whenever they walk past you arm-in-arm; Accept this, sure, with want of disbelief, But keep yourself from causing any harm. There, there; there is no need to cry and weep, For this issue won't stay like this for long; If it's too much, then just go off to sleep, The only place where you two can belong. Just make a point of being nice with them; Don't let them see the grief that's held within.
