ACCEPTANCE

You can't reason with the truth. Our minds torment our pride. We allow ourselves to be confused. Admittance to our wrongs, Can be our ultimate defeater. Self respect and defiance Has become our own true leader. Bearing the inner disappointment, Can take so much away. Persistence to prove our lies, can prevent us to even try. Life is about making mistakes, our expectations set to high. Standing at the peak of disaster. It hits us like a storm. We can't figure a way around it. Our mind is angry, a heart is torn. To sit and face the damage, We can blame it on the sky. It is part of the ring of fire. The reason some of us die Hiking through the forest, the brush tears us down. No fight to see it through. We search another way around. Aimless justification, We never move up the ladder. Knowledge and training, to accept we must make amends. This is wisdom that matters in the end. Are own demise is the creation of our demons. It can grow to powerful to conquer. Savage beastly characters within. We slowly turn into monsters. The only benefit is those moments of clarity, to see the person we have become. Some things unfixable, and things that cannot be undone. Our internal battle, The depth of our fight. No way around the truth. Life's not about being right. Our failures shall see us through! Acceptance You can't reason with the truth. Our minds torment our pride.
