Acceptance
Despair for me continuously comes in waves
There exists no escape when my heart clutches me by the throat and chokes me
It is when I am howling the loudest that it seems I cannot be heard.
I never challenged why they deserted
One by one stemming an infinite line
Some I recognized. And foresaw.
Others still grate my skin raw when I relive all over again.
