Acceptance Letter: The Anxiety of High School Seniors

Somehow I feel as though my life is over- the way I've grown used to it anyway
When the letter comes in it's brisk format:
"Congratulations, you have been accepted."
It proudly declares in neat black font.
And when they smile at me and hand me the neat paper with all it's daunting blanks
When I put on the neat black dress and sit to be examined by them I feel it in my bones.
But maybe life has just begun for me....

WhatACatch

I'm a 15 year-old High School Senior with a passion for words and music. I'm looking to publish a poetry book in the 2015-1016 year (maybe once I graduate... ). I'd love to hear thoughts on how I can make my poetry better or any requests for what you'd like to see me write about!
