Accepting All of Myself

Complaining, whining, suffering. Emotions that show weakness. Actions that show negativity. For society will call you ungrateful.                                                                                                                                                                     Poetry is the only ruler to tolerate such expressions. It grants all emotions freedom. It treats all emotions equally. It constitues emotion without judgment.                                                                                                                                                                                             The happiest to the saddest descriptions are read. The brightest to the darkest images are gratified. The purest to the explicit are indulged. The most ridicule contents can be juxtaposed.                                                                                                                                                       Complaining, whining, suffering. Do it verbally, it can be scorned. Do it poetically, it can be admired. Poetry is the only ruler to compel others to see distasteful attitude as something beautiful.                                                                                                                                                                   For it is poetry that allows me to accept me. Accept how I feel and accept what I think. Because it will be seen as an art and art is not rejected.
