Accepting Goodbyes

I still feel your caress

and your breath on my skin

There's no one who can make me forget your smile

and I still love you today

more than yesterday

I dream on seeing you again

with every passing day

your absence kills me more

and I start to lose faith

I wish I could forget you

with another lover

and erase you from my being forever

tell you to your face

that I don't need you to live

I wish I could extract you from my heart

and wipe off the sweet taste of your lips from mine

not miss you when night falls

and without an aching heart

accept your goodbye

but when I think I've forgotten you

I discover that I still love you

I know I am responsible for my loss

and my suffering will not mkae you return

and believe in me again

I made you cry

and I regret it love,

I am so sorry

If I can no longer see you

I will not survive

I wish I could exrtact you from my heart

and wipe off the sweet taste of your lips from mine

not miss you when night falls

not point fingers and accept your goodbye

I wish I could forget you

I wish I could erase you from my heart

and wipe off your sweet taste from my lips.
