Accepting Our Community

Perfection is a desire,

Freedom an aim,

But how much would I give,

To make one little change.

People with similar tastes,

Similar goals,

Similar lifestyles,

Is what we look for.

People with different tastes,

Different goals,

Different lifestyles,

Are regarded with a sense of hostility.

If I could change one thing,

I’d open the minds of our communities,

Our leaders,

Our youth.

So we could become accepting of each other’s stories,

Each other’s choices,

Each other’s lifestlyes,

Accepting of an open-minded theory.
