Accomplishments

Growing up with the world on your shoulders,

You tend to want success so bad,

You look around and see what is given and can't even comprehend,

The fact that those surrounding you never seemed to work as hard,

But you stare in the mirror and question your abilities on why you have no support.

I walk in these hallways feeling proud that I will have finished my final year,

I close my eyes and wonder if all this anxiety is worth my tears.

The fresh hallway smell-the teachers who care-report cards given every nine weeks.

High School is finished, were on to the biggest, step of your career

But how do you choose?

How do you decide, what is best for you?

Your parents and teachers sent you on your way, there not going to baby you.

Don't be scared of the future,

Don't be scared of what is next, just be ready to start the path....

It's a new day in a big school, now you're on your own,

One step closer to reaching all those many many goals.

The walk down the stage and firm hand shake you've finally received,

it's time to put that diploma right next to your degree.
