The Ache of Temporary

It's happening again, my biggest fear has been confirmed at last. My best friend, my closest companion, my love is leaving me in the past. Once we got into the same college, I thought I was safe. It was a great semester, but comfort eventually turns into chafe. Through the overly expressed Web page before me, I read it in a comment. Disbelief fled my mind and life was on pause for only a moment, before the text I did not want to read twisted my stomach and I could not breathe. Is this true? Could he really move out of state and leave? Am I not good enough to make him stay? Why would he want to go away? This hurts entirely so, Please don't go. But wait a second. He loves me, I reckon. It's not me, it must be something more. Oh, it's his family he can't live without anymore. I guess I understand, you've been away for quite too long. Perhaps I just thought the connection we had was so strong. Although I wish I could hold onto you forever, I must not be selfish. Go warm the lives of others, the time we spent together I will cherish.
