Acid

The burn I feel rush through my cold body…

It hurts so much, paralyzed…

I try so hard, to reach for the water beside me.

Him sitting there…smoking.

Watching me struggle.

The smell is unbearable… sweat and cigarettes

Covering my face.

My skin burning…

I laugh, crying at the pain.
