My name is Emily Holm. I have lived in Arizona my whole life. I currently live with my parents and my younger sister. To tell you a little about myself, I love long walks, bike rides, playing volleyball, and watching a ton of movies. I attend Liberty High School and will graduate in the top 25 percent of my class. My academic goal is to get a Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine with a duel certification in Psychology.

I will be attending Scottsdale Community College this fall. I am currently a straight “A” student with a 3.9 average for my overall high school career. I have been part of the National Honors Society, have been awarded the All District Scholar Athlete Award and have received an Academic Letter for two years (2012-2013).

Right now I am currently working part-time at Michaels Craft Store and am a full time student. I have been working at Michael’s for a little over 2 years now. My mother has been working for Michaels for 15 years and my dad has been an Accountant for 20 years.

My personal goal is to finish college with my degree as soon as possible and get straight into the work force, starting my career as a Physician’s Assistant. My parents inspired me to be the best I could be, pushing me forward to accomplish my goals and go after my dreams.

This scholarship will help me continue on with my dream to graduate with my degree to join the medical field. Thank you for your consideration.
