Acorn

After all the years so grand
With silver shining in the air
No one is afraid to dare
Significance in their prayer
And in it, hope is born
With plenty left over to share
A forest is in an acorn.

People walk hand in hand
Skipping without a care
Because they find life is fair
This becomes the only place where
Friendship can never be old and worn
And there is enough love to spare
A forest is in an acorn.

Soon the world begins to expand
Becoming what was once rare
Friendship is what you’ll find there
Joy and happiness beyond compare
Where no one is left forlorn
but still, beware
A forest is in an acorn

When he meets another with a glare
Soon he finds reason to mourn
And the world gives hope a scare
A forest is in an acorn
