Acrostic

May you always be radiant? Aspiring to be above everyone else and shallow. Really, here you stand staring back at me in a bewildered state of mind. You know exactly what had happened two weeks ago. Just so that you’ll know I’m going to refresh your memory. Our friend was pushed violently in front of a train. Coroner’s office had ruled her death a homicide. Everyone watched in awe as you stood with a puzzled look on your face. Looking down at the red blood that was plastered all over your white cream colored shirt, You looked up at me with darkness in your eyes, which at the time I couldn’t understand why. Now five years later you still have no remorse and the darkness in your eyes still remains. Everyone says all lost souls eventually get found, but for you there is not even an inch of hope.
